Have a Boo-tiful Mother's Day

"Black Magic"

Good Morning all you Mother's out there. I hope you have a wonderful day filled with lots of Tricks and Treats. Hopefully more treats than tricks.

Yesterday I spent the day in PA with my family. When I arrived home I saw something on my front porch. It was a boo-tiful Halloween Plant. It was from the "Garden Junkie" herself, "Kristen"! She was wishing me a Happy Mother's Day.

Thanks bunches Kristen you made my day. It is my first Halloween Plant. I know exactly where I am going to plant it. I hope you have a great day with the kiddo's. You are a dear friend!!!!!

Etsy a wonderful place to do your shopping!

Have you done any shopping at Etsy lately. Well just to let you know, there are so many wonderful Artist's that sell their homemade Art there.

One of my all time favorite Artist is Melissa "The Holiday Queen". I just love her stuff. She makes the most whimisical Halloween items. I have purchased many things off of Melissa in the past. But I thought I would share with you what I bought off of her lately.

This was a wonderful gift that Melissa had given me. I just love this Halloween pinwheel! Her label cards are some of the cutest I have ever seen too.

Underneath were the goodies that I bought. I am sure you can imagine that they were Halloween. Of course my favorite Holiday.

This little shaker is so cute. I love the way she decorated it. She even painted Halloween on the ribbon.

Next was the other Halloween treat.

This one is so much fun. I love that it has two sides to it.

Here they are all pictured together. Don't you just love them.

Here they are in my halloween cabinet. I am so pleased with my purchases.

Please remember how important it is to support the homemade Artist. I know I sound like a broken record. But it is so true. If we didn't do so, then none of us would have any one of a kind original pieces of Art. Is there truly anything better than that.
Thanks again Melissa for always making shopping with you such a treat. You are truly a wonderful Artist.
Thanks so much Melissa for everything!!!!!!
Stop over at Melissa's Etsy shop and check out all here treats for sale.

Be careful what you Wish for!

The other day I was talking to my hubby about pumpkins. We are thinking about planting a small vegetable garden this year. I had asked him if we could maybe plant some pumpkins. I have never planted them before. He told me they take up alot of room and that we just don't have the space to do both. I was a little disappointed. I wished so hard that I could have my own little pumpkin patch.

A few days ago, the sun way shining and it was so nice out, I decided to maybe pull some weeds. Out in front of my house I have this small area that I plant some annuals around this tree. In the fall that is where I place an arrangement all all kinds of real pumpkins and gourds in the fall. I walked over towards the tree and underneath I saw some weeds. When I got a little closer, it wasn't what I thought it was. I look and I look again. I realized that it was the start of a pumpkin growing. I realized that there were all kinds of seeds on the ground. I was so excited to see this. I am going to have my own little pumpkin patch this year. The bad part is it is going to be in the front yard. But I refuse to pull the plants. I can't wait to see how many I get.

I'm sure my hubby won't like it. When he mows the grass, I am sure the vines will get in the way later this summer. I might have to take over the mowing this summer just so I get to keep my little patch of pumpkins.

So just remember, Wishes do come true!!!!
