The Graveyard Asylum

One of a Kind
Papier Mache Lighted House
"The Graveyard Asylum"
Due to recent events in my life, this is how I came up with my latest Halloween creation. I am calling this piece the Graveyard Asylum. These crazy Halloween guys are having a Party at the Nut House. Notice most are wearing their favorite party hats.
It's still a work in progress. Just a few more details and I will be done.

So tune in later for pictures of the final look.

Hey Kim! Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such nice comments! Well I don't do papier mache, but sure wish I could learn. I've been wanting to make some pumpkin treat containers to go along with Halloween dolls but wouldn't know where to start. Something like this, but in a scale that would go good as an accent with dolls ~

Don't you think that would be a GREAT seller?!!

So many of us do such a wide variety of hand crafted arts, but ya know, ya can't do it all!

Warmly,

Mary

Hello Joanne! Imagine how excited you are about Halloween coming well that is how excited I am about Halloween all year round. It is my most Favortie Holiday Ever!!!! He HE!

I never have a creative block when it comes to making things for Halloween. It just flows. Other holiday on the other hand are somewhat of a challenge.

Hi Mary, I went to Ebay and checked out the buckets. I have seen those in person. I think they are really cute. I guess it all depends on what kind of doll they will be going with.

You should try papier mache. It is easy once you get the hang of it. The possiblities are endless what you could make with your dolls. All kinds of goodies. I think you should go for it.
